Julian Bond tells me of the demise of two Social Business Networks, just as it seems they’re springing up everywhere.

Join us for networking in Lewes
It’s almost time for Sussex Downs Ecademists’ monthly networking meeting in The White Hart Hotel, Lewes.
We’ll be there this coming Tuesday (24th) from 7pm, in the lounge, to the right of the entrance.

Social networking for people – courtesy of orkut
Online, social and business networking is booming. I’m an active member of Ecademy, a not-so-active member of Ryze and a trying-to-find-the-time-to-explore-thoroughly member of LinkedIn. Friendster and some others have fallen by the wayside.
Last week I was wondering who’d invite me to join Google’s toe in the water, orkut. Now I know. Thanks to Steven Livingstone for doing the deed.
If you’re on any of these networks, please feel free to link up!
I’ll report back on orkut and LinkedIn once I’ve had a good scrabble around.
Social networking for dogs
If I had or was a dog (down, reader!), I’d be able to take part in some social networking on Dogster.
Are they barking?
