Birmingham gets a new image

Two sides of Brum:

Birmingham is a tolerant, pragmatic city with lively nightlife, a world-class orchestra, two Premiership football teams and acres of green space. But its image stinks as badly as the dilapidated rats’ nest that was the old Bull Ring shopping centre.

I loved both sides of Birmingham during my time as a student there.

But I can see the need for a new image as Manchester has taken its role as the city people think of after London. Good luck to the powers that be!
